Sword and Shield Support is Here!

You can now track your Living Dex progress in Pokémon Sword and Shield on PokédexTracker! Keep reading to learn a bit more about the details behind this update.

Tracking your Regional Gen 8 Dex

• As of right now, we only support tracking a Regional Dex for Sword and Shield. Given the disappointing news that there will be no full National Dex in Sword and Shield, we are currently waiting on a future update about Pokémon HOME to make a decision for a National Gen 8 Dex. If you have any opinions either way, feel free to tweet us, and we may launch something sooner!
• If you choose to track a Shiny Dex, you may notice that we're missing shiny sprites for all the new Pokémon and forms. Unfortunately, we weren't able to acquire those sprites quite in time, and we didn't want to block the entire launch just for that. Whenever we do get those sprites, we'll update the site right away. If you or someone you know has these sprites, please let us know! Special thanks to @MuirMic for sending us the non-shiny versions to help us launch!
• We decided to include separate boxes to track Gigantamax Forms and acquirable Non-Galarian forms based on polls we ran on Twitter. In the future, we hope to make these boxes configurable (in addition to adding support for more types of forms), but for now we went with the majority vote!
